Dunkirk
War. What is it good for? Really good films!
Dunkirk is a visual and musical spectacle. The action (which is fairly constant) is incredibly well done and very very tense. You are always on the edge of your seat.
For all that it never reaches greatness as you don't really get to know any of the characters.
The time frame is also quite odd with three stories occurring at different times. I quite liked it but I imagine some people wouldn't. Still - cracking film
